Sandi Jakubic

Sandi Jakubic began teaching for St. Paul Public Schools in 2003. She received her undergraduate and graduate degree from Bethel University in English and Special Education. She spent the first 16 years of her teaching career at Benjamin E. Mays IB World school as an English as a Second Language teacher and an Autism teacher.  She moved to Como Park Elementary School in 2019 with her student teacher to continue her teaching career.  She has been working with a variety of students with exceptionalities since she began her career with St. Paul Public Schools.  She holds multiple teaching licences in the areas of English as a Second Language, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

When Ms. Jakubic is not at school, she loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys camping, traveling, gardening, walking her dogs and watching the MN Vikings !

Ms. Jakubic believes that students with exceptionalities are unique and possess and unlimited ability to learn. She loves teaching and making a difference in the lives of her students.
