Ms. Gao Vang
Greeting parents! My name is Gao Vang and I am excited to be a part of the Como Park Elementary second grade team. I have been teaching since 2001.
As a second grade teacher for your child at Como Park Elementary, I'd like to acquaint parents with our curriculum. For Reading we use Fountas and Pinnell Literacy. For Phonics we use UFLI. For math, we utilize Into Math by Houghton Mifflin.
In addition to our core curriculum, we also make time for fun here at school. We have many exciting things happening here at Como Park Elementary. There are four specialists that we rotate through. They are music, science, technology, and gym.
