Mrs. Morgan Zak

Morgan Zak started working as a Licensed School Nurse for Como Park Elementary in the winter of 2021. She graduated from Winona State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and is currently completing her Master of Education degree in Health and Wellness Education through the American College of Education. Morgan became a Nationally Certified School Nurse in March 2024. 

Morgan lives in the south metro with her husband and 2 dogs, Minnie and Murphy. She enjoys hiking, watching movies, spending time with friends, playing with her dogs and baking. Morgan and her husband have a camper in Brainerd, MN on a lake and love spending weekends there during the summer.  

Health office staff support students in numerous ways: hearing and vision screens, vision referrals to Phillips EYE Institute, dental services through Children’s Dental, flu vaccine clinics, vaccine administration in school, and so much more. Como Park Elementary also has a health assistant one day a week.
